Alaska Airlines is making it easier for Pacific Northwest travelers to hit the slopes this winter with new seasonal nonstop flights between Portland International Airport (PDX) and Yampa Valley Regional Airport (HDN), serving Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
The twice-weekly service will operate on Thursdays and Saturdays from February 11 through March 28, 2027, giving travelers convenient access to one of Colorado’s top winter destinations, famous for world-class skiing, natural hot springs, and weekend mountain getaways.
Adding to the convenience, passengers can check ski and snowboard equipment without extra oversize baggage fees, provided the gear is under 115 linear inches and weighs no more than 50 pounds.
The new route offers a direct gateway from Oregon to the heart of Colorado’s ski country just in time for the peak winter season.
