A Delta Air Lines passenger aircraft arriving from New York was given the all-clear at Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport on Tuesday after an anonymous bomb threat triggered an urgent security response.

Passengers quickly disembarked after landing, and the aircraft was moved to a remote area of the airport for a thorough security inspection.

The Israel Airports Authority confirmed that security personnel examined the aircraft and found no unusual items or suspicious devices. Airport operations have since returned to normal.

The incident comes amid heightened aviation security concerns following recent incidents involving flights bound for Israel, including the reported cockpit attack aboard flydubai Flight 1073 and an Ethiopian Airlines cargo flight that was turned back after Israel refused it permission to land because its pilot was an Indonesian citizen.

Authorities have not reported any suspicious findings aboard the Delta aircraft.
