Trump is reportedly planning to fly to Ireland aboard the controversial Boeing 747 gifted by Qatar — despite lingering questions over the aircraft’s security.

The luxury jet, offered by Qatar as a gift to the United States, has been undergoing modifications for presidential use while Boeing’s next-generation Air Force One aircraft remain delayed.

But the aircraft’s security has drawn attention. During Trump’s July trip to Europe, concerns reportedly arose over whether the Qatari jet had adequate protection against potential threats. Trump ultimately departed aboard an older presidential aircraft.

Now, despite those concerns, the Qatar jet is expected to make another international journey with the president aboard.
