Allegiant Airlines Launches Nonstop Flights From Oklahoma City To Gulf Shores, Alabama

Allegiant Airlines began nonstop service on Friday from Will Rogers International Airport in Oklahoma City to Gulf Shores International Airport in Alabama, giving Oklahoma travelers a new direct option to the Gulf Coast as summer travel begins

The airline said the new flights will operate up to three times each week. Flight days, times and lowest available fares are listed on allegiantair.com.

“We’re excited to kick off the summer travel season with this new nonstop route between Oklahoma City and Gulf Shores,” Allegiant Chief Commercial Officer Drew Wells said.

In a statement, Oklahoma City leaders say the new direct flight increases options for Oklahoma travellers heading to the Gulf region.

“The Gulf Coast is already a favorite destination for Central Oklahoma travelers, and adding Gulf Shores increases their options for a great beach vacation,” Jeff Mulder, OKC Director of Airports, said.

To mark the launch, Allegiant is offering one-way fares on the route as low as $44. The airline said travelers can also book rental cars and hotels through Allegiant.
