Actor John Barrowman is facing a wave of online criticism after complaining about his recent American Airlines business class experience on a flight from Los Angeles to London.

The Doctor Who star shared a now-deleted video from his seat, questioning why passengers in the first two rows of business class received complimentary pajamas while others did not.

“My father and my husband behind and the tickets were very expensive,” Barrowman said, adding that they expected pajamas as part of the airline’s flagship service.

He also complained that his meal order was incorrect and that some items being served to other passengers were not available to everyone despite them all travelling in business class.

Barrowman called the experience “shady” and accused the airline of providing poor customer service.

While some defended him, arguing that passengers paying premium fares should receive the service advertised, others mocked the complaint.

“The entitlement is off the scale,” one critic wrote.

Another sarcastically commented: “Our thoughts are with John Barrowman at this difficult time.”

A third said: “Stop moaning about a pair of pyjamas, if you paid business class you can afford a pair yourself!”

Barrowman later criticized American Airlines further, saying its flagship service was “not hitting the ball out of the park.”
